The Story of Iron Man #73

Tony Stark is demonstrating his methods of suiting up as Iron Man for the Hogans when an explosion at the plant draws his attention elsewhere. After ensuring that the injured will survive and that the threat is abated, he returns to Vietnam. Once there, he encounters the Crimson Dynamo, who learned of Roxie Gilbert’s presence at the experimental city and came seeking revenge against Iron Man for the death of Janice Cord. The battle is difficult, and Iron Man laments his role in creating many of the weapons being used against him. The Crimson Dynamo escapes after using a devastating weapon that unleashed a napalm-like gel throughout the experimental city, as Iron Man is too busy saving as many lives as possible to chase him. He does so, and also learns that Marty March intends to remain and help rebuild with his love, Shara, while Roxanne and Iron Man return to America. Roxanne realizes that she’s growing to like Iron Man, as the more she learns about him, the more she realizes she misjudged him.
