The Story of Brave and Bold #186

‘The Treasure Of The Hawk-God’s Tomb!’: Batman and Hawkman seek to recover a stolen Horus sarcophagus and they start a manhunt in Gotham City to locate the responsible. After gathering enough information, the heroes learn that the art thief is none other than the Fadeaway Man, who hopes to auction off a fake to the Gotham underworld. After a failed first attempt to capture the Fadeaway Man, Batman and Hawkman come up with a plan to capture the villain at his own auction. During the ceremony, the Fadeaway Man notices that Carter Hall is among the audience and he fears that Hawkman might be close. However, it is Batman who tries to capture him, but the villain uses the Cloak of Cagliostro to escape. Back in his hideout where he has hidden the real Horus sarcophagus, the Fadeaway Man is challenged by Hawkman and with Batman’s assistance, they manage to capture the thief and retrieve the stolen art pieces. ‘In the Lion’s Den!’: A wounded Nemesis must fight his way out of Jay Kingston’s estate.
