The Story

Johnny lost his girl Gina, and now he loses his job, because Caesar’s has hired his rivel Flagg Fargo, and that means the Cowgirl would be showing the #2 stunt rider in town, which her owner won’t do. In the desert, Ghost Rider finds himself attacked by weirdly glowing bird-things! They are the creations of his enemy Moondark, who also uses a seeming of Gina Langtree to lure the Rider in. Mondark’s plan is to exchange Johnny’s soul for his own! Outside, the Night Rider battles and defeats Moondark’s guardians, and then enters determined to stop Moondark! Johnny remembers meeting the Night Rider a century ago, but who is this? It doesn’t matter; the new Night Rider distracts Moondark long enough for Johnny to transform and escape! Separating Moondark from his magical soul orb, his firey threats force the villain to flee, but as he fades from view he vows to restore his powers and return…
