Using this weapon, Metallo is able to escape. The next day, Lois Lane goes to Wayne Enterprises, to ask Bruce Wayne to contact the Batman, as she is in need of protection while covering a story about stolen uranium from Metropolis, which has been tracked down to Gotham City. Later that night, Batman and Lois meet with Dr. John Carshaw, one of the scientist responsible for creating Metallo. Carshaw is supposed to have vital information, but it was all a set-up by Metallo to kidnap Carshaw by making him go out of hiding and talk to Lois Lane. Batman tries to stop Metallo, but he is also defeated and taken by the criminal. Working by herself, Lois goes to S.T.A.R. Labs and gets a special radiation equipment that will help her locate Metallo and the stolen uranium. Meanwhile, Metallo has trapped Batman under the STAR Labs building and is using Dr. Carshaw to create a lead shield and stop the radiation pain. Batman breaks free and confronts Metallo, who uses the kryptonite ray to weaken the vigilante. Lois finds Batman just in time to distract Metallo and his energy source is depleted thanks to a tampering with his system by Dr. Carshaw. With Metallo out of action, Batman captures Carshaw, who is still a wanted crook and Lois gets ready to deliver a good story to Perry White in order to meet the deadline. ‘Queen: En Peise!’: Nemesis learns that Chesterton ultimately plans to kidnap the queen of England.

Brave and Bold #175 – Collector Details

This copy of Brave and Bold #175 is carefully graded and offered in 9.4 Near Mint.
