The Story
Ghost Rider hits Chicago! He toys with the police before encountering, and soundly beating, the hapless Water Wizard. As the Rider roars off laughing, a face forms in a water barrel – Moondark! Moondark will enhance the Water Wizard; together they can defeat the demon. Meanwhile, Johnny must contend with a pair of bikers who find him an easy mark, and are disappointed! The Water Wizard attacks again, but now his creations are immune to Ghost Rider’s fire! Until Moondark, whose power created them, cannot resist materializing to gloat. The creatures may be immune, but Moondark isn’t – he’s still weak from their previous encounter, and flees when Ghost Rider attacks. Moondark’s magic withdrawn causes Water Wizard to lose control of his monster, which attacks hero and villain alike! Fortunately, it’s no longer immune to hellfire – and neither is the Water Wizard, who is left screaming and screaming as the Ghost Rider races away, laughing!
